Oh, I agree. I think everyone is some form of crazy. There's no such thing as a "normal" person.
Some kinds of crazy are from life shaping who you are, and some kinds are from being born with a weird chemical makeup, or weird brain pattern. I have the weird chemical makeup kind, so I already know what's wrong with me. ^.^ It's not puberty or monthly hormones; I am 24 after all. As a matter of fact, there's no hard science behind my diagnosis yet. I am bipolar, and in most cases doctors just throw lithium at people like me and hope for the best because they aren't really sure what chemicals are out of balance. I'm what they'd call "high functioning" though, so I rarely ever need medication. Plus, I don't really want it. I like the experience being crazy brings me. It's partly why I like Erik so much! It's just really interesting to go back and analyze my thoughts/feelings over a span of time.
I guess I randomly shared all that because I wondered if anyone else here had the same thing. Bipolar people are often found in the arts because of their ability to be passionate and obsessive and dramatic to a ridiculous degree. Many of us here are artists who were drawn to Erik, and I wonder if it's partly because some of us identify with him a little too well. XD
This is a gift, it comes with a price. Who is the lamb and who is the knife? Midas is king and he holds me so tight and turns me to gold in the sunlight.
